Dr. Travis K. Sharpe

Dr. Travis K. Sharpe graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Southern College of Optometry, Memphis, Tennessee in 2006. Since that time, he has practiced optometry with Dr. LaPierre in their office. Prior to optometry school, Dr. Sharpe attended Kansas Wesleyan University where he pursued undergraduate studies as a prerequisite to optometry school. Dr. Sharpe became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in 2009. In August 2011, Dr. Sharpe achieved board certification as a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry through his endeavors in writing, research, and continuing education over the past several years.

Dr. Sharpe is a member of the Salina Area Chamber of Commerce and the Kansas Optometric Association where he served three years on the board of directors as the North Central Zone President. In addition, he is a member of the American Optometric Association, the American Academy of Optometry, and the American Board of Optometry.

Dr. Sharpe has been married to his wife, Heather, since 2002. They make their home in Rural Gypsum, Kansas. Dr. Sharpe and his wife enjoy spending their time at the lake and trying to keep up with their son, Jace.
